The Miami New Times just dropped a bomb of an article about PED use in MLB. Former “Anti-Aging” Doctor Anthony Bosh was running a clinic that was allegedly selling PEDS and Steroids. The clinic was located in the heart of Coral Gables, just a stones throw from UM. The report lists names such as: Alex Rodriquez, Gio Gonzalez, Melky Cabrera, Nelson Cruz, Cesar Carrillo, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Wayne Odesnik and University of Miami Strength and Conditioning Coach. If accurate some serious repercussions could come from this article, but Alex and Gio have already released statement denying any tie to the clinic:
“The news report about a purported relationship between Alex Rodriguez and Anthony Bosch are not true, Alex Rodriguez was not Mr. Bosch’s patient, he was never treated by him and he was never advised by him. The purported documents referenced in the story — at least as they relate to Alex Rodriguez — are not legitimate.” – Alex Rodriquez Statement
“I’ve never used performance-enhancing drugs of any kind, and I never will,” the statement says. “I’ve never met or spoken with Tony Bosch or used any substances provided by him. Anything said to the contrary is a lie.” – Gio Gonzalez
This is all still developing, I think there is a lot more to come from this story.

Honestly major league baseball should just come to terms with the fact that baseball players will always medicate to impove performance. Maybe even embrace it for the sake of the game.
